Mint Moth (Pyrausta aurata)

This pretty little thing enjoys my bergamot plant, and as the name suggests its larvae and adult form feed on mints- such as spearmint, lemon mint, apple mint, catmint and other plants such as meadow clary and marjoram. Being a micromoth, it's quite small (about 14mm wingspan) but it flies during the day as well as at night.
