Sunset

It's amazing that we're still waiting for summer yet by 930pm here the evenings are darkening. The sun shone with us today and, by the look of the sky it may do so again tomorrow.

The day had begun with the decision to take Gizzy back to the vets. He had looked dreadful through the night and I'd been told a shot of steroids would help. If he shows some improvement he can have another next week. We know he won't recover from kidney failure, but I want him to be as comfortable as possible.

He has perked up enough to eat few pieces of home-cooked chicken and I saved some fish from supper time to give him later.
