feeding time

I had to stay in for some parcels arriving today so declared it a housework day. My husband was thrown out persuaded to go to Keswick for the morning so that he didn't trip over any cables or buckets I might leave lying around and I worked non stop.

With no time to go for a walk I investigated the garden. The echinops was like a bug restaurant - bees, hoverflies and this green-veined white butterfly. Not the prettiest of specimens but a blip nevertheless.

Quite a lot of cropping here and a few plants trampled on in the taking of the photo.
