Baby Gator!

Ann and Lee took us to Brazos Bend Park where there are wonderful lakes, birds and alligators! Boy was it hot! About 95 degrees, we walked for miles! However this shot was taken in the visitor centre where we got a chance to touch a baby alligator, this one is a year old and about 7 inches long. I liked this shot with the mini version on top of the cabinet containing the skeleton of the really big version.

On the way back home we stopped for dinner which resulted in my favourite comment of the trip so far...
Me: Can we have some Tex-Mex food while we are here?
Lee: Here we just call it food.

...so we stopped for fajitas and the biggest margarita I have ever had which meant I had to have a lie down when we got home, combination of heat, long walk, great food, magnificent company and that cocktail!
Then we watched Oblivion in Ann and Lee's home cinema.
