Gearing up for the big run....

Today I had a bike ride of about 50 miles, a sort of active rest day from all of my running, I hadn't intended on going so far but I was enjoying myself so much I just stayed out.

This was taken from the Millenium Bridge looking towards the Tyne Bridge, which appears to be readying itself for the Bupa Great North Run, quite a famous half marathon, it's entry fees are extortionate now so I don't do it any more, mind you I've done it ten times previously !

back to work tomorrow and out to the pub for our tea tonight, not long until my holidays now.
