So this piece of wood's watching me

I am invited to make a work of art. Theme: nerve. I really like the broadness of interpretation of this word. It seemed apropriate to use a nice piece of elm wood, with nerves! I just need to give it a good look in order to find what it's telling me. And it's just what it does right now: it lookes at me.. Fun with the elm..
