Feeding Sygnets

Managed to get to Staines and within 2 minutes at the riverside I spotted a group feeding a family of swans and sygnets. I was very grateful as I did not really have the time to walk for miles to find an appropriate subject.

I should be able to use some of these pictures for my assignment but thought I'd post this one for now - once its been tidied up it should make a great image and is quite appropriate for B&W as their feathers are a browny grey and white . I didn't really use a fast enough shutter speed to get them both clearly but I like the way they are almost, but not quite, a mirror image of each other. Beautiful creatures !

Its been good using B&W for the compositional elements of my course work but I can't wait to get back to colour for the next part for a while !!
