Aunty Iz

Somehow managed to be up, dressed, breakfasted and car loaded for 10! On the road minutes later after dropping the keys off.

Slightly exciting drive to Calais (MrRoly missed the big yellow diversion signs in Rouen so we only discovered the closed road when we reached the barriers across it...) which got us there 6 hours before our booked Chunnel crossing.

I sacrificed a wine and stationary shop in Carrefore for an earlier crossing and tea at my friend Iz's pub in Leatherhead.

We left her just after 8 and caught the tail end of the M25 closure and sometime later, a queue on the A303 by Stonehenge. Finally got home just before 2am.
