Street view

We went by bus to the local town this morning to see some friends, and as we had to wait a while for the bus, we sat in the shelter and I looked at the scene opposite the bus stop. I must have passed this road hundreds of times, but I don’t think I’ve taken time to look at it from this particular viewpoint. Without the yellow lines, and a bit of imagination, it could be a step back to the past, with Victorian houses built on a steep slope up to the trees and what would have been countryside beyond.
