Nala had her spay :-(
Eva was back to waking a couple of times in the night. She doesn't cry, just makes like a whingey noise that starts off quiet and gradually gets louder and more persistent. I have tried ignoring her, but it doesn't work lol. Each time, a short feed seems to do the trick, I put her back to bed, and she's straight back to sleep, so it's not too bad.
Nala had her spay today. I was so worried about it as I've never had a cat spayed before, and she's lost so much weight from having this litter of kittens. Scarily so. But I picked her up and she was totally fine, you wouldn't even know she'd just had such a big operation. She wolfed down 2 sachets of food in quick succession, bless her, and a load of dry. The kittens were very wary of her when she got back. A few times I had to intervene as Nala was getting cornered by her own babies, with their fur stood on end, standing on tip toes, and hissing at her. Poor Nala. They were ok after a while though thankfully.
Nanny and Grandad Nash came round in the afternoon when Mike got home from work. Nanny had lunch with me and Eva so that was nice. Eva does seem to be putting more in her mouth now, but still not swallowed anything. Everything just gets a good suck.
Today's pic shows Eva all ready for bed after her bath with Daddy, watching In The Night Garden on Daddy's iPad. It's her all time favourite programme, she is mesmerised by it.
