A Straw Dalek

Spotted at Snugburys Farm and Ice Cream Parlour, Nantwich.
They have been making straw sculptures for over ten years, and this has been built to celebrate 50 years of Dr. Who.
The sculpture stands 35ft high and is made from approximately 6 tons of straw and 5 tons of steel.

We had lunch at the Cholmondeley Arms, and as Mrs MD's birthday is approaching, and as the pub is famous for its selection of gins, I decided to treat her to a 'Gin Platter' - 'Three different gins and two different tonics'
This was going to be my blip but I was overruled in favour of the Dalek :-)
