Hippocampus Jass Gang

That was the name of the band who got the large crowd at the St Thibery Jazz Festival shouting, whistling and applauding. A big mention to the American vocalist with this French band: Emily Cole, whose distinctive voice is ideally suited to their swing and early blues repertoire. They were aided and abetted that night in St Thibery by some amazing young swing dancers - pictured here - who got applause all of their own, and by a stageside bubble machine which brought magic to us all and a lot of fun to the very youngest.
