shining and glinting

I haven't been on my bike since I returned home. Having recently witnessed friends and their families bike related injuries in combination with the terrible traffic system now dysfunctioning in Edinburgh I have been a little scared to get back on it. Which is slightly annoying but I'm trying not to be too hard on myself. I was quite shaken.
Tonight the wheel rims were glinting at me. Just reminding me it's waiting patiently.
I'm getting closer. And I know I'll be glad when I get back in the saddle.
