Come Closer

We had a great time walking and running around the 'Walled garden' in Bangor today. We could see why it was a finalist in the Britain in Bloom competition.

So many pictures of wild flower beds, formal ones and Sophie running around them all. Not too many friends for Sophie to play with today, which was a bit sad as a boy and girl told her to stop following them; all she wanted to do was play :(

Took a few photos of the good old sunflowers and was not expecting anything to be useable but then I saw this beauty. I don't usually try 'macro' with the smartphone, for obvious reasons, but this one has been seriously 'cropped' but it still seems to have survived.
