Pend

When showing my English husband this photo today I described it as through a pend. I got a now familiar look of 'oh god, not another of your silly Scottish words'. So for all you non-Scots, a pend is a Scottish architectural term for a passageway that passes through a building, with rooms directly above it, often from a street through to a courtyard - lol!

I just kinda liked the neglected feel, with the graffiti.
