The water here is way off the top of the hardness scale and it doesn't taste very great. Additionally, in the summer months it's also tepid because the ground the pipes pass through is so warm. Add all that to the need to stay hydrated and we drink a lot of bottled water.

This is the back-up stock by the office fridge. Sufficiently cold, it tastes better than the stuff from the pipes, even though it's probably filling us up with hump-inducing chemicals.

Historically, beer was invented because the water was lousy; I think we should go back!
