Elephants!

Had a great day trekking. It was about three and a half hours through the jungle. I managed to leave the bottom of my trousers behind so my calves got cut and bitten and stung by various flora and fauna. At one point it rained and we were struggling down almost vertical hills in ridiculously slippery mud. I only fell over twice which I was proud of. Challenging but great fun.

The elephant ride was probably the most uncomfortable mode of transport I've ever been on. A combination of the way they sway and that I think we were sat in baskets designed for rice. Absolutely chucked it down, quite scary watching the ones in front slipping down the hill!

Luckily managed to get this shot just before the rain hit. Magical animals, I absolutely loved them.

New food: parmelo fresh from the tree. Not a fan.
