The Art Studio

I am on a photography assignment.

This is a look inside the studio of local, highly rated, artist Mairi Aitken. She has won numerous awards and has regular exhibitions of her work. The paintings are excellent and highly sought after.

Mairi has 3 works nearing completion which need to be photographed for a catalogue as soon as they are complete. Time is tight but we should make it o.k. The plan is that the paintings will be complete over the weekend and I will take the photographic images on Monday morning and burn them to CD. They have to be with the publisher by Thursday which should be fine.

This image actually contains one of the new paintings. It looks finished to me but apparently still requires some final touches.
