Que Lindo, Quito

This city is beautiful. That is all.

... Okay just kidding, i feel bad typing so little but i'll try to keep this entry brief! My last two have been so long, sorry about that!

Today I woke up and ate another Ecuadorian yogurt fruit salad & Columbian coffee combo, then me, Caitlin (my friend from Canton), and Laura (my new friend from Switzerland) went with my host mom over to the Ecuadorian Foreigner Registry building where we waited two hours in line to register the visa we got from our Ecuadorian consulate back in Chicago.

I met Luke, this tall nerdy brunette guy who's majoring in chemical engineering and we talked about orgo for the longest time xD I met two girls from North Carolina, Julie and Anna, and I ran into Marijo again!

... Oh and Jay was there too xD
He walked over as soon as he spotted me and asked me how my day was and if I wanted to grab a drink with him at a bar later today o_o
Me, being the anti- drinker, politely declined lol!

Jay: *points to me* Hago amiga nueva
Me: You mean "Tengo amiga nueva," as in "I have a new friend" now, right? Because what you just said implies that you're doing me. (hacer= to do)
Jay: Omg yeah

After all the paperwork was done all of us went on the double decker bus tour of Quito! I loved it, I sat on the top deck and took tons of pictures and honestly, I really love the feel of old town Quito. With its narrow streets and colorful European style buildings and all the pigeons I felt like I was in Italy! We also went to this cool museum of Incan history and I met this one guy who apparently also goes to Michigan State named Rob. He tapped me on the shoulder and introduced himself, he's nice!

Rob & I (and Caitlin & Julie & Anna ) went to a cafe and talked then took the bus home. I ate dinner with my family and played classical guitar for them!

Overall, excellent day :)

AHHH CLASSES TOMORROW AHHHH
