Wednesday's Galah

It's the sort of day today where the early blipper catches the worm. Rain is forecast, and already it's really heavy looking and foggy.

I think this galah came down to have a quick feed before finding some shelter for the day. It has the honour of being first bird I have blipped from the new Gorilla Pod!

I've done plenty of this charming bird before, so no need to tell you all the details again. Being that the Galah is one of the most regularly blipped bird, I have held off blipping one since 5th October of last year.

The Galah is one of the most wide spread members of the Cockatoo family.
