Ring of blackwater

I was heading downstairs with the intention to go out and take some photographs when I noticed something glinting on one of our cactus plants. It turns out that Linda had watered them shortly before and there was a globule of water sitting on it. Seeing an opportunity to stay in,(it was raining!), I grabbed it with open arms.
