Susan's wonderful display of flowers

Susan always puts on a lovely display of flowers in containers on the back patio and this year is no exception despite the hot dry weather. She's particularly keen on flowers that attract bees and this year the bees have had a field day with all the wonderful blooms.

Had a quieter day today after the full on day in France yesterday. Made some sweet cucumber pickle this morning and then went for a jog in the heat. Mad.

Really enjoying this summer weather despite the incessant watering.
