Smeaton Lake

P headed off with friends down to London for a few days - the weather in East Lothian has been very muggy and humid. Tool some promising shots at Smeaton Lake which I hadn't been to for years -very tranquil however the foliage is so overgrown that there were few opportunities to take interesting pictures. I was quite confident this view was going to be good out of the camera however discovered a lot of blown highlights on the water and pond residue spoiling the shot. Drastic action was required and the shot was reworked with PS filters to give it a painterly effect - compositional wise I was quite pleased with the result.
