Heave-ho!

Today's the day ........................ for a blast from the past

This picture is fifty-five years old. It was taken by my Dad in 1958 and features me (far left), my sister Marj and my brother Ron.

It's one of the 300 or so slides that I have kept from all the hundreds that my Dad took during his lifetime. It was hard to choose them - because he was a good photographer - but there's a limit to how many photographs you can store. We've got many hundreds of our own ones already.

But what joy to look at this one and remember that it was taken on holiday in North Berwick. I can remember that dress (made by my mother) and thinking that I looked the bees knees in it!

A priceless memory indeed ..............
