We went into a rather magnificent church (my GOD, they were wealthy & powerful). There was a small Michelangelo sculpture of a Madonna & Child which I paid 2euros to see... it was reduced from 6 euros because of all the building works..
this was one of the builders.
Amazing - massive medieval church, packed with lovely paintings, some covered with dust sheets, but most just accumulating layers of stone dust.
