How many fathoms...

Would it take to fathom this out???

This is the fathom marker in the steam house at Levant Tin Mine. It tells them how far down the shaft (no sniggering at the back!!) the skip is carrying tin or copper up from the Mine!! This was our cultural visit of the week...to the tin mines, and actually very interesting too.

National Trust too...so a 'freebie' for us.
