Anti-Crepuscular Rays

Viewed fron Kirkcaldy across the Forth estuary at 7:40 this evening.

The water was clam, the wind had dropped to almost nothing and and I thought the shipping was going to be spotlit by the setting sun. Unfortunately not to be as the cloud started encroaching from the west but still enabled the Bass Rock (far left), North Berwick Law (right of centre) and East Lothian to be illuminated.
The Bass Rock is 20 miles away.
