Lovely Biscuits

Emergency blip, straight home from work and both boys out to footie, so I sat no my butt, had a coffee and biscuits and thought about what to do about my job.
I started off my week thinking I would just finish my year secondment as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and return to the Hospice. But I've had a good week at work, like everything it has its good points and its bad points. This post is giving me the opportunity to learn so much, develop new skills , a very steep learning curve!!! Its allowing me to be home every night and weekends with my family. It's an opportunity that I really can't miss, they very rarely come around. So I think I'll stick it out for another year if I get the chance. One thing for definite it has shown me, long term, it's not for me. I miss the work at the Hospice, the environment, the staff and most of all working closely with the patients.
