Can I have one?
It's so lovely to wake up to a house full of people! Even if I was shattered. Charlie woke up randomly at 1:30am. He fed then we put him back to bed in hopes that he might lie-in. 5am he was awake again! I think it's his new found mobility. He is constantly contorting himself into crazy positions in his cot. Robin took Charlie down just after 7am so I got to stay in bed until 8am when he left for work.
After giving the kids breakfast, Laura, the boys and me headed into town for a spot of shopping. I got a new 'going out' outfit but currently nowhere to wear it to yet. Charlie was getting fussy and upset in the shop when I was paying for it. The guy behind the counter was asking questions about Charlie. He was a really nice guy - very nice infact because when I checked the receipt I realised that he'd undercharged me for the top (which didn't have a proper label on) by £15!
We got back to the house at 4:30pm and the weather was beautiful so we filled up the new paddling pool I'd ordered for the boys. They all dove in (except Charlie) whilst I made some Epic Pork for tea. The slow cooker is such a winner for feeding the family.
When the boys were all in bed, I dyed my sister's hair. She's decided to go extreme - swapping her blonde highlights for 'Mango Intense Copper'. I didn't appreciate just how much hair Laura has and one box was definitely not enough! When she'd washed it out I could still see whole chunks of blonde but the top of her head was bright ginger. Eep!
