Hard to choose

Hard to choose a picture for today. It started with a swim at 7.30, in massive swell, which is where this picture came from. It's of a plumber called Peter Kidney, who took some time out of his daily swim to show us Manorbier beach. He proclaims to only be a 'plodder' in the sea, but was quickly out of our sight. This was him on the way back in to shore...
The rest of the day was mixed. A lot of time waiting for people to call us back, followed by a lovely interview with three generations of one family, and a very special half an hour with an octogenarian we thought we might never meet. Lets just say an overprotective son was livid with us by the end of the day... And I'm not really used to that kind of reaction to a friendly introduction!
Need to get to sleep now in order for another 7.30am swim tomorrow. Can't wait!
