Vintage Wooden Cabinet with Butcher Block top

I stopped by Bonni Bakes shop in the Village of the Arts in dowtown Bradenton today to pick up some things from Bonni Brown. She had many of her awesome kitchen tools for sale displayed on an old apothecary cabinet from her dad's pharmacy. She had salvaged and saved many of his fine pieces and decorative items when the shop was closed years ago. She had obtained old butcher block and had a custom top built for this cabinet and it is nestled into her commercial kitchen space. ( I am a sucker for fine old wood pieces!) Some of her kitchen tools were on display as she is downsizing from a really large house to her wonderful smaller tree-house. The Bonni Bakes house has a pop up shop of all of the wonderful things which will be recycled to new good homes. I got the oven kitchen peel which was one of the tools up for grabs. I have a myriad of kitchen tools and am more into downsizing than acquiring now. But that was a special implement I did not have and will certainly use. And that it comes from a cook whom I admire, it makes it even more special.
