Annie

Susan asked me if I would take some portraits of her old dog Annie. Annie is 14 years old, and Susan doesn't know how much more time she will have with her. Annie was once a great agility dog, with a box of winning ribbons to show for it. The photo shoot seemed casual, but there's always that pressure at the back of my mind, "These aren't just pictures of a dog. You're responsible for creating portraits that sum up everything this dog has been and will be to her owner. These might be the last memories Susan will ever have of Annie and they need to live up to that." I hope she will be happy with the portraits.
