Family Dollar

We left Nashville this morning and hit the road down towards Chattanooga and the Tennessee River Valley, a target area for me this week. As we passed Manchester, TN near the Jack Daniels distillery the rains came in and reminded me of home. It was bouncing off the roads but didn't slow progress too long. We were going to check into the Choo Choo hotels so I could have some train shots but lack off good wifi switched us to the Sheraton. A stroll in the evening took me past the familiar view of the Family Dollar store. A little like a rundown Woolworths, it appears in most cities and gives an indication of the area of town. A Whole Foods or Trader Joes is the opposite end of the scale, like a Booths in the UK.
