Buckingham Palace
As the Queen is off on her summer holidays, the public can get tours of Buckingham Palace. Despite my natural scepticism for these things, it was actually quite good and informative. Calum got a kids audio tour, which sounded more interesting. The boys back in UAE have still a thing or two to learn about palaces.
This photo it taken from the gardens, the lawn was being watered at the time. It shows the original Buckingham House (1703) which was altered and extended by John Nash in 1826. The round bit is the Music Room, and to the right is the Blue Drawing Room (which was my favourite).
In the evening I was persuaded by K&C to see Billy Elliot. It was good but I preferred Rock Of Ages
