A street light is not the moon, but we can pretend. A footbridge across a creek is not a beautiful bridge, but we can pretend. A creek is a gum tree-lined natural drainage system no longer that fosters frogs and the swooping of inland birds onto its waters and lagoons, but we can dream.

I predict one day Tatiara Creek will be returned to its natural state. I feel this.
