Gone Fishin...

Well actually I went to the tip. I had an old sewing machine and old plate warmer an empty 5litre can and a lot of pyracantha clippings.

This view is taken from College Road canal bridge looking towards Aylesbury on the Grand Union. The Aylesbury Arm of the canal stops here currently as the lock is closed behind where I am standing & further up towards Marsworth you can see that there is work taking place. To the right of the canal is ARLA - it is a huge site !

Came home & had a clear out in the garage then raided Peter's skip for some wood I need for a little job. Then the gravel arrived for the drive which Carol promptly laid & raked in - she has done a fabulous job ! Have some to lay down the side of the house hopefully in the next day or so.

It was raining when we got up this morning and the day has been close & sticky. Not a bad day though.
