Twickenham Green - the view from Arthur's
Houblon hadn't escaped from the house all day so we went out for several bites to eat at Arthur's restaurant in Twickenham Green, followed by a couple of pints in The Sussex.
Arthur's has an amusing history. When we moved to Twickenham, 19 years ago, the building was a public toilet. I'm not sure whether the Council sold it off, but there was some controversy about its conversion to a restaurant. Now it makes a good place for people watching.
It'll soon be too dark in the evenings to do this, and too cold to sit outside, so it was nice to take advantage while we still can
