Here is what I remember...the reason I took the shot,

He was frantically writing and scribbling out.

I thought his pen might snap.

But here is the truth, my confession.

I like taking these candid shots. I like the excitement of being on the edge, of maybe getting caught mid shot. I wonder if he had looked up, me holding my iPhone, hand in the till so to speak.

Awkward? Unpredictable? Maybe he would confront or maybe smile. Or maybe just think "weirdo."

The key is to be in and out fast, get your shot away then blend in. Love it.

These moments are the polar opposite of my more formal work but the thrill of getting away with it....
