Heading home

Got up early, packed everything up and headed off in the car back to Glasgow, still floating on our little cloud of happiness! We were exhausted and our legs were knackered, but it didn't matter, and we were excited about getting back home again.

Caught the train from Glasgow and got back home about 5:30pm. Dumped all our cases and bags outside the front door, and Tim picked me up and carried me over the threshold! There was a hamper waiting for us outside the door, too, from my friend Char, bless her. She'd sent us a bottle of bubbly and some chocolate truffles :)

We got all our wet stuff unpacked, then limped up the road to Khan's for a delicious curry. Came back, unpacked everything else and popped open the bottle of Veuve Cliquot my auntie had bought us. Also troughed a load of the truffles Char had sent. Luxury!
