Michael Gambon Eh Joe EIF 22 August 2013

The Gate Theatre Dublin presents Atom Egoyan’s acclaimed production of Beckett’s first television play, Eh Joe, starring Michael Gambon at the Royal Lyceum Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh International Festival. Gambon performs behind a thin gauze screen onto which is projected a huge close-up image of his face. Tonight's brief photocall was very busy - getting on for twenty photographers clicking away with a volley of shutters every time Michael turned in our direction.
