Fresh Sea Air
After a day and a half seeing Norwich, it seemed appropriate to have a day out in the countryside. Bridget and I hopped on a train up to Sheringham, and spent a day wandering around the town and along the cliffs. It was very changey weather, from windy to sunny, and cool to warm every five minutes, but that made the skies and light quite spectacular. I had a few potential blips, but I promised to blip Bridget at some point while she was visiting, so here we go.
After a day of walking in the chilly we were exhausted by the time we got back, so it was time for takeaway and tv. We got tasty Chinese, watched Step Up (it was on when we turned the tv on) and Anna Karenina (the new one). We both got fed up with Anna, but agreed it was wonderful to look at - the style was spectacular, but it was just a pity about what they did with the story. Not that I like the book. Well, Anna at least. Give me a whole story about Kitty and Levin and I'll be very happy.
So I managed to collect the whole set - Erica, Imo, Ed and Bridget all came to visit (whole set being a specific set of close friends, not my grand total of close friends...). I love showing my places off to people, and it's always really nice to see friends who know the jokes and have the history, plus get to make them like a new place. Thanks everyone!
