Tropical colour...

.. in a grey and wet St James' park today.

I enjoyed my lunchtime walk round the lake - still lots of ducklings, baby coots and moorhens and cygnets to see. I really wanted to blip the ladies in black chadors carrying British union flag umbrellas. But I wasn't quick/brazen enough and didn't want to ask!

In other news, yesterday when I asked D to stand up so I could get him out of the bath he held up his forefinger and said 'one minute!' Don't know where he's got that from!

Today on the way home he walked while I pushed the buggy (attached to me by a wrist strap). The hardest part was not actually getting him to go in a straight line/stay on the pavement/not pick up litter but just managing the buggy when trying to hold his hand/help him into and out of the train and bus.
