Evening sunlight on the buildings beside the River Ness. Had a horrible phone call this evening to say that mother-in-law had had a fall, had an open fracture of her ankle and was on her way to hospital in Broadford before being airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Feel horrible that we were not at home for her but feel a little bit better that at least we will be here in Inverness when she arrives in the helicopter. Just sitting waiting for a phone call from our daughter (who is with her at the hospital in Broadford) to say she is on her way.....
