Picasa Dahlia

Bill got a mixed bag of dahlia tubers and we weren't sure what we would get out of the deal. This is one of them. I had to mess around in Picasa and my usual tricks didn't work with this flower, but the zoom was kind of fun.

A humid day as the sky gradually became more and more gunky, because of clouds and because of smoke from the forest fires. A beautiful red sunset tonight, but it's just no use for me to try to get a decent shot of it in my neighborhood.
