Wedding day

Last night we drove to York ready for Shelley and Paul's wedding today. It was brilliant fun and I was seriously impressed with the amount of DIY which had gone into it, Shelley had even made her own wedding dress. We shouldn't have been surprised as these two are the kind of people who must have more hours in the day than everyone else, somehow they manage to work, totally renovate a house, raise money for charity, run marathons (Shelley), run a successful photography business (check out www.diamondsanddoodles.co.uk) and an art gallery (www.backotheshop.co.uk), and pull off an amazing wedding. In short, they make me feel both lazy and exhausted! At their wedding reception they were lucky enough to have a friend who wants to be a chef, the food was absolutely amazing and the cake competition for desert was a great idea. It's been too long since we last met up, probably 3 years ago at our wedding, hope we see you guys again soon.
