And with a swoosh it was airborne!

I was down at the Lifeboat Station today and this Gull was taking off from the rocks. They are great to watch, sometimes just skimming the waves. The breeze wasn't helping him either. His flight pattern was up and down in keeping with the swell of the incoming current to the shore and the wind. It eventually soared higher and away. But interesting to watch all the same!
