Lemon meringue pie

Today is my first blip and I have to admit I'm rather nervous about what to say.

I'm sat in the kitchen, keeping an eye on fruit which is emitting a warm spicy smell as it bubbles away on the hob, ready to make a sticky tea loaf for my best friends dad.

I've been with my girlfriend for three months today. Jess is making chilli chicken ramen later (with supervision) and I'm going to surprise her with lemon meringue pie. Apparently it's her favourite and has been asking me to make it for ages. Slightly concerned whether or not it will survive a trip on Sheffield's public transport in one piece though.
