Grey day on the river.

Raining quite hard today . My mum's saying of " rain before seven,fine before eleven " did not hold true for once , but the garden does need a soaking.
Popped over to the boat so that Brendan could measure up some new bits that he's making for the hatch. Nothing is a right angle, nothing quite matches the other side and so it's hard to get it all fitting nicely. Fortunately he's very patient and meticulous as well as being skilled at these things.
On the way home took a short detour to take some shots of the River Orwell in the gloomy weather. It looked almost black and white anyway so I completed the conversion to mono. Hope you like it.
