Day 6 Cycling in Bavaria

Today's cycle ride was a 51 km round trip back to Bad Tolz for a second night in the same hotel. The route was undulating somewhat and I ran out of puff now and again! We cycled through vast meadowlands along quiet country roads. Many of the meadows were just cut so there was an aroma of freshly cut grass. We passed many farmhouses and barns all beautifully decorated with flowers hanging from the balconies, shown in the background of my blip today.
The furthest point we cycled to was the village of Gmund on the shores of Lake Tegernsee. We stopped at a Gasthof for lunch and a beer. Later We stopped at a bench to eat our bag of juicy sweet cherries.
We have a long cycle ride tomorrow back to Munich and I hope I find enough energy!
