A low key kind of day

After all our frenetic activity of the last few days it felt good to be doing things at a slower pace today. I've finally got around to hanging a few more pictures in the newer half of the house and done a little sorting out in photograph folders. What I hadn't done was think about taking photos. When I did I thought I'd give the Lensbaby an outing which might have been a mistake outside without a tripod. Even the smallest movement made it difficult to focus and my laziness in not finding my tripod didn't help. In the end I've settled for this image of the fennel - I quite liked the composition, even if the focal point isn't quite in the right place.
